Polygroup recently celebrated the grand opening of our latest manufacturing facility at the Kendal Industrial Park, located in Java, Indonesia. On November 13th, Polygroup hosted the official opening event attended by approximately 150 distinguished guests from banking, government, and retail sectors.

The itinerary included insightful presentations, a keynote address from our Group CEO, Elmer Cheng, and a factory walkthrough, concluding with a dinner reception at the Padma Hotel in Semarang.

Mr. Cheng emphasized the significance of Polygroup’s expansion into Indonesia: “This event provided our partners with an intimate view of our operations, demonstrating how this facility strengthens our supply chain and enhances our ability to efficiently meet global demand,” he stated. “I truly valued all the positive feedback we received from our guests, highlighting the collaborative spirit that drives our success.”

A Bright Future Ahead

With an investment exceeding $100 million and plans for over 6,000 new jobs, Polygroup’s Kendal facility spans 18.7 hectares. This marks the fifth factory in nearly three decades, joining sites in Juarez, Mexico, and El Paso, Texas. Our global footprint now exceeds 10 million square feet, supporting over 15,000 employees.
